Chinese Language and Culture Center (GASU CLCC)

The Center is a branch of the Confucius Class of Novosibirsk State University, and its Chinese partner is Xinjiang University (Urumchi, the People's Republic of China).

The activities of the CLCC are focused on the following issues:

• Teaching the Chinese language to a wide range of people;
• Collaborating with educational and scientific institutions of China;
• Promoting knowledge about China.
• Providing information on language training programs in China.

The Center also organizes various public events that showcase the history and unique aspects of Chinese culture, as well as it conducts master classes in Chinese cuisine, traditional paper-cut art, ideographic writing, and others.
